KHAJURAHO MONUMENTS (India)
A group of Hindu and Jain temples in central India's Madhya Pradesh, mostly built between 885 and 1050 CE, have been recognized for their outstanding architectural symbolism. Only around 25 of perhaps 85 original temples have survived. They display a set of features called nagara style, commonly found in Northern India.
